Whether you are fishing for millions or just weekend bragging rights, your gear should never fail.
That’s why we do things differently. Our dad Karl took over Schneider Lures from Bob Schneider over 20 years ago, and after he passed we rebuilt it from our mom’s garage with one goal to do it right. We hated how little transparency existed in this industry, so today every lure is handcrafted in Stuart, Florida using 100% American made materials, painted, rigged, and designed in house. No shortcuts. No guesswork. Just lures you don’t leave the dock without.
Frequently Asked Questions
How should I fish this lure?
8” Buttonhead
When targeting fish like mahi or tuna, this lure performs best in one of the short riggers, or a flat line.
11” Baby Yap/Magnum
Best pulled out of an outrigger, preferably in a short position if it is one of the larger lures in the spread, and if using teasers/large plugs, works great in a long rigger.
How fast will my order ship?
Orders are typically packed and shipped within 2–4 business days and arrive within 4–6 business days.
Should I get mono or cable rigging?
Unless you’re high-speed trolling for wahoo or fishing around a lot of wahoo or other toothy bycatch, we recommend going with mono. All of our hook rigs are built with heavy-duty cable, so you’ll still have cable where it matters most and be set either way.
I don't know what colors to order.
Not sure what color to choose? Every lure has a best-selling color that’s a great place to start. If you’re picking up a few, we recommend mixing it up. Grab a natural color like Flying Fish and a brighter color like Purple or Red. This gives you a good mix in your spread and lets the fish tell you what they want that day.
